INTENSIVE THERAPY PROGRAM

Our Intensive Therapy Program is our passion and focus, and with good reason! It has been shown that completing a focused, intensive three week program can help your child reach therapeutic goals quicker than they could achieve in a year of typical therapeutic interventions. The intensive program means that your child will receive two hours of therapy five days a week for three weeks. For the two hours daily, your child will receive a combined program of one hour of DMI treatment and one hour of PT intervention. The three week length was chosen purposefully in order to allow your child to grow in endurance and allow their brain and body time to learn how to respond to the new and challenging exercises they are introduced to. There are some occasions where we do offer shorter intensives. If you are interested in an intensive program but are not able to commit to a full three week program, please reach out and discuss further options with us.

You may be thinking that the Intensive Therapy program sounds… well, intense! Believe it or not, your child can do this! The two hours of therapy will be broken up with a rest break provided in between sessions. The length of the rest break will be determined based on discussions with you and our team. We have a comfy and inviting family lounge where you and your child will be able to relax, rest, and recharge before completing a second hour of treatment. If you live local or have local accommodations, you will also be free to leave between sessions if that is preferred.

Please visit both the DMI and the Physical Therapy pages to learn more about each intervention type that your child will receive in the Intensive Program. We have listed more information about who is appropriate for DMI services and what each intervention will target.

Climb is already growing - we are currently seeking to expand our intensive program so that we can offer OT, Speech, and Feeding Services. It is important that we find the right member of our team to successfully help your child!

Please see our “learn more” page for any other concerns you may have about whether your child is appropriate for Intensive services.
